I really want to like this book more, as I love the plot and the story theme. My biggest issue with this book is how much the author keeps repeating herself! The story is super slow to progress. As soon as you think the characters will move on to talk about a different subject, they continue to repeat thier thoughts over and over again. The first 30 pages is about how they broke up and she regrets it, how she'll never find someone like him again. Then they go on a date, and bam another 20 pages of "boohoo me, I miss the couple we use to be" it doesn't even really go into detail, just repeats the same vague breakup. I would love if we learned more about thier past, or they did more stuff in present. So far its really hard to stay focused on the book as the characters just keep repeating their thoughts. I need some action! Some new thoughts! Some memories! Some prorogression! ANYTHING BUT REPETITION of the same idea 100 different ways! *Update 4 stars cause the middle of the book is good

I couldn't read the first few chapters for 20minutes without falling asleep.Boring work compared to the writer's other books.

Kay Lyons always wanted to be a writer, ever since the age of seven or eight when she copied the pictures out of a Charlie Brown book and rewrote the story because she didn’t like the plot.
